It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I used to motor along at between 130 and 145 on the 250. Now that I have a bigger bike I don't speed![]()
In space, no one can smell your fart.
i keep it within the speed limit
i mean as long as we have window lickers laying gravel roads every where its all you can do on 99% of the roads![]()
On good open roads I usually tick along at around 110 but will creep up to 120 in some situations. 140 is not unheard of during a passing move. I'd rather be in front of a vehicle than sit at the back watching tail lights, the road and putting up with the turbulence from something like a big bus or truck. I'm not a slave to the speedometer so I ride more with the flow of traffic than a one size fits all number. On some roads 80-90 kph is absolutely flying...

Around a hundred, there is no way I'm doing 70k on the motorway, even at a hundred I get cages up my ass!!
Good that she pulls hard in 6th..![]()
the most important criteria is "can I stop or take evasive action in the road I can see?", and there are some roads that 70kmh is fast, but on the highway I sit on 110 - 130 kmh. It's a speed that is well within my ability to stop and take evasive action, is fast enough that I need to stay focussed and slow enough that in the event of coming across a mobile tax collector I can either lose speed quickly or I'm not going so fast I walk home.
Personally I think that 100kmh could even be dangerous because it's too easy to zone out at that speed, but the road rules are not just set for car drivers but for the least skilled car drivers.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.
Usually around 120k ish but ocasionally crank it up to 200k but not for long because I GET THE FEAR,not of crashing, just losing my license.Always feel like I,m holding my machine back Whoooah Suzi Whoooah....also that mexican bastard on the back urging me on.."Open it up Dave"..."But thats breaking the law"..."Open it up"...."Yes open it up".."And get a perm"..."Yes get a perm"..![]()
Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank...
Give a man a bank he can rob the WORLD !!!
I tend to go near as fast as possible on open road. On the mighty FXR. So pretty much ~100kmh.
Do 73.93% of poll respondents have radar detectors, not worry about legal consequences, or is there a secret trick I don't know?
Or, more accurately, not speeding in front of police cars that aren't already busy
A couple of us had an excellent ride yesterday (Bombay, Miranda, Kopu, Ngatea, Paeroa, Te Aroha, Okororie, Tahuna, Mercer, home) and we did a pretty good clip for all of it. Went past no less than 3 HP cars at............interesting...... speeds. All 3 were already occupied.
often 'tis better to be lucky than good.
