I'm only on a 250 so anything above 110/120 is hard work and not good for the bike.

The Tiger sits nicely between 4 & 5,000 revs in 6th gear and then it gets realy nice again (every now and then) at about 6,000 odd.

MPH is between 60 and 70 most of the time, whats that in Kph?

I generally like riding where the bike feels sweet, then I feel sweet too. John.

So why are there not more police (firemen or ambos etc) killed speeding to incidents if speeding is so dangerous? John

PS: Helen Clark set the standard by speeding to the rugby.

Speed does not kill... it is the sudden stop at the end that does....

yeah the mess can be bigger but shit loads of people still get killed at slower speeds as well.... people can fall over walking and die...

I ticked 120, but it is 120 on a suzuki speedo, so really only 109 (verified by GPS). Of course I would never go faster than that!

My GPS is not 100% reliable, for instance on the trip computer it lists the fastest speed at 149, clearly I wouldn't do that - it must be wrong/it was a private road/I tried it out when in an aeroplane/a mate borrowed the GPS and that speed was done by him/it's a scooter so it can't possibly go that fast.

Seeing as I got stopped for speeding at 120km in 100km zone a little while ago, I havent got the money to waste on a ticket so I try to keep to the limit, not worth it, and I usually not in a hurry anyway. Riding for me has nothing to do with speed, but just getting out there... and having a good coffee at the end destination.
