mmm, yep, have spent a while reading all the posts on this thread, and thought I would add my 0.0001c. I am essentialy a dirt bike rider, and ride a crf450. I do not race, but am considered a compitent rider by the ppl I ride with, and do most trail rides on the NI. A couple of months back I bought two quads, 1 for me and 1 for my wife. I did this only to be able to spend more time with her doing something I love, although it had to take the form of quads, as she was never going to be able to ride dirt bikes considering she had never ridden a bike before. I still get my kicks on the trail rides on my crf, but now mix it up with alternative weekends out on the quads with her. The point I am trying to make, is that there is place for everyone who wants to have a good time on the trail rides, and simply because you think you are fast, good, whatever, it does not give anyone the right to think they own the ride and everyone else, quad rider or dirt biker, needs to get out their way when they coming. Yes, simple coutesy is most defenetily nessesary, if there is a place to pull over to let the faster rider through, do so indeed, but the flip side of that is that its not your right to have that courtesy shown. Lets get over the animosity between quad riders and dirt bike riders and we will all have a good day out, regardless of your riding speed or capability.

    Life is about having fun.

+1 from me. It's all good fun, and not a last-man-standing duel anyway ?
