Heh, I think he means he's going for his bike restricted license test.

Just concentrate on not speeding and following the road rules and you'll pass the test easy as. It's only about 10 minutes long.

crap and I thought it was going to be a thread on how cool 6Rs are..

Well, yeah, just take your time, indicate lots, look lots and keep to the limit and don't forget to go where he/she tells ya, or you look dumb. Aside from that, treat it as a regular ride, else you might get too nervous and bugger it up. Just play it cool.. What you basically have to do (in case you aren't sure/didn't know) is the instructor tells you where to go, and they follow you. That's it. Oh, and don't loose them at the lights or the round about, and if you do (like I did), find a safe place to pull over and wait for them, else they'll fail yer ass.

Then, when you've done that, wait a little longer, then do your full, then go ride a 6R, then you'll know what my previous thread meant..

Yep, I'd be your friend if you did that.

Really though, just play by all of the rules and check all of your side streets and your mirrors and indicate, piece of piss, I'm sure I broke some kind of record, mine was around 1 block, finished in 5mins, before the time I was even supposed to start. Did mine on a saturday morning too

I'm overdue to do my restricted but I'm worried i will fail . can't afford to pay to do it more than once.
Do they follow you in a car or on a bike?

as long as you don't ride like an idiot, you won't fail. Just treat it as a regular ride, but you've been told where to go, and you'll be fine. Indicate lots, look lots, and don't get lost and you'll be cool. They aren't going to mock you if you get lost (really hard to do, cos they indicate before you if you can't remember, just keep checkin the mirrors). Just if you do get lost, it can break the confidence a little.

You'll be fine, just book it and go for it. The sooner you do this test, the closer and sooner it gets you to your full, and that's the aim, else you'll be stuck on either 250s at 70kph or breaking the law big time..

Watch your speed, there's a 5km/h tolerance. INDICATE, especially leaving roundabouts.
Don't travel too slow either. Exaggerate your head movements when checking behind etc.
And pray you don't get a grumpy bugger like I was.

Good luck matey, tell us how it goes
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
