The best thing about HOG and people who wear American Flag bandanna's is I get to run with the Kiwibiker crowd and mock Harley owners.
And at the end of the day that's what its all about isn't it?
Each to there own re patches on jackets!
Hog or not.
What ever makes their little worlds go round a little better.
There are many strange things that pop up from time to time, just to plant a smile on your dial.
Live your life in such a way,
that when your feet hit the floor in the morning,
Satan shudders & says....'Oh shit!....she's awake!!'
His life his jacket, so what,!!! "get a life" leave others to theirs.....![]()
Loving this thread !
Its just what I needed.
Ive got an orange bike - but I ride it up in the hills so no one sees me but the goats and the deer.
I wear a rugby jersey and gumboots some days..... the lack of peer pressure is just so sublime!
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......
I've got a patch on the back of my jacket too. Dainese. Mock it and you'll get a jolly good Spidi glove slapping.
Each to their own - but we can still have some fun at other people expense ... can't we?
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
It's all about the bike - honest
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
Like someone else said...HOG have been around for ages, actually since 1983... and the back patches (rockers) as well as the side patches have been around just as long...
The back patches are very popular in the states but due to conflict with some of the existing "clubs" throughout Australasia the rockers were taken off the market for us troublesome kiwis and aussies.
Then about 5-ish years ago they became available again. You won't see one on the back of EVERY HOG members jacket but if they wanna wear it proudly then good for them. Personally I think its asking for trouble from the 1%rs but thats another whole thread LOL.
I'm proud of what I choose to ride but my personal preference is for no badges OR patches aside from the one R.I.P. in memory of my dear departed.
...it is better to live 1 day as a Tiger than 1000 years as a sheep...
