Or take in Middle road and Route 52...
Or cut across Takapau to Ormondville(2 ways to go if you've know the roads). Selections are wide and varied. Or cut on to Te Uri(from Ormondville), Weber, Pongaroa(gas and pies avialable here, but 91 and deseol only iirc) etc bypassing Dannevirke, Woodville, Pahiatua and Eketahuna.
Or you could just follow Bonez and he's bound to lead you all over the place. Good stuff eh?
Lower N.I has some of the best bike roads around.
Come off the Mangawekas and hang a left to come down through Kiwatea and Kimbolton. Great roads and awesome scenery. Then its a small hop to carry on over the Paihiatua Track to meet SH 2.
Have fun.
he better buy that atlas.....and do some study!
