Based on the KB poll only 25% of riders ride inside speed limits.

From the poll that close to 230 KB's have answered we see that only 25% of riders that participated ride 100k/h (or below). That leaves 75% who speed. with 55% stating that they normally do 120k/h on a open road.

Given that we can not really trust what people on here say this means diddly. Or does it???

I wonder if we took these figures and compared them to how many % of the bikers in NZ have accidents where they end up in hospital, if the % would be similar to the 5% who state that they ride at 160k/h or above???

I should really do the research before I post this. But I am not that interested. Just something I wondered. And I am sure that someone else who have all that statistic info at their fingetips will be able to come up with an answer.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Are they the same people who know that the reason for the childhood injections are really so that we all can be barcoded?

I didn't need that poll to tell me I'm part of a dwindling minority

if the law makers were really switched on... they would lower the speed limits. The resulting increase in revenue gathered in fines..... might pay for the ACC deficit... then again...

So in Katman's book, 75% of people here are wankers.

I suspect the 75% who travel at over 100kmph would probably apply to cagers as well.

Interesting that one - I confess to being one of the 75% in the 100-120 range on the bike, however in the car on the same roads it's pretty close to the speedy limit. Probably due to having the family in the car with me.

I do ride differently to the way I drive.

    In town
Bike - carefully always looking out for the cars.
Car - somewhat more aggressively - 'it's my space and I'm going for it'

    Open Road
Bike - zipp do dee dee da ... was that a car I passed - he/she must have been doing 80
Car - that was a cool bike passing us dear

Now there is a poll to start:

    Do you wank?

    a. Never - it's the devils work

    b. No - do you know how much Viagra costs? - what a waste.

    c. Only when the Farmers catalogue gets delivered.

    d. Daily

    e. Twice a day, but never at work

    f. I'm having one right now

True - and when riding there are very few conditions that would allow one to wank........... (that includes riding past High Schools for you young men OK).

He openly includes himself in that 75% too btw
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
