    Photo of Moto Guzzi Mk1?

Wanted any photos of a white mark one as I am doing mine up and want to get the paint true to original if possible. Two wheels mag did an article on one but unable to trace a copy.

    Thanks

    Good luck with that ;-)

I've never seen a white Mk1 but really anything in print is useless for colour matching as the printers art is not that good.

Besides, the fenders and sidecovers have the colour built into the plastic so it's not gunna be easy to get it 100% right (but really who cares)....

    Haven't come across a photo of a white Mk1.
Try fishing through these sites as there are plenty of photos & manuals on various models of the mighty lemans, but mainly red & pale blue.

I'm guessing you've scoured the Internet? Got to be a pic out there. Also, try posting the question on a few dedicated Guzzi forums.

    Good luck.

All the white Mk2's I've seen have the black panel. How 'authentic' do you want to get? The black is the same as the chassis, a foul satin colour that looks dirty from day 1...

white ones never sold because no one wanted to look like a cop that bad

Here ya go, from magazine adds is all I have - they were same as the baby blue and all the red/black ones. except whit where the red SHOULD be.
the colour picture bike should have tthe fluro strips to the fairing.
I put up the blue bike for pinstripe reference.

Here is another one of the blue model to help you get the fluro on the front screen correct.
Paul is right about the matt black, looks crappy from day one. The frame tends to rust through it because it is semi-porous.
I have had Pro-Coat do a matte black powdercoat, then put a matt clear powdercoat over the top of that, this preserves the matt finish and makes it look good for longer.
    Hope that helps.

If its the bike on Streetbike you are thinking of, then it was white but highly modified and not originally a LeMans. I have the article in a folder.
