    trying to sell my bike

hey all, I am an Alaskan traveler who has spent the last two months riding my GPZ 750 around this wonderful country. i am now stuck in Auckland trying to sell my bike before i leave on the 11th of march. i was wondering if any of you had any advice for me on good ways to sell. thank you for letting me ride in this bikers heaven. i think the engineers in NZ built the roads specificaly for bikes. Thanks and i hope to be back soon.

Glad you enjoyed your visit. You haven't left yourself much time, but you could try either www.trademe.co.nz or the North Island equivalent of The Buy, Sell and Exchange (called trader and exchange??). Best of luck.

Another option is see what a bike shop will give you for it at this late date it will not be a flash offer though but you will know what your bottom line may be, and place an add in the herald.Trade me will be a good option giving that you can specify the length of the auction with a starting price above what the bike shop offered. Unless you have a friend or family member you can leave it with for them to sell your options are rather limited and may have to give someone a bargin they can't refuse.
