Metallica, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash...... the list goes on.

I usually chant my city traffic mantra:

    NoNoNoNoFuckwitNoNoIdiotNoUseYourFuckingEyesNoNoNo PickALaneAnyLaneFFSNoNoNoYouSuckNoNoSoSlowNo... etc.

I find I usually arrive refreshed at my destination after approximately 30 minutes of chanting it.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

For me, I always find myself singing "Swinging on a star" or the "British grenadiers"

Edit. Also hum the Raiders march when lane splitting

Hey, it works. Not ONCE in all my years have I struck an iceberg whilst riding.

I've had the theme from the old spacies game "Moon Patrol" when I ride down SH22 ...

"I'm a little teapot" when I am waiting at the lights and doing the actions ...

"Ride of the Valkyries" for those inspiration hill rides ...

"It's the final countdown" during those turbulent moments ...

"Remember you're a Womble" pootling along a nice bit of shore ...

"Ave Maria" coming onto a majestic view of God's own ...

"She'll be coming around the mountain" around the Forgotten Highway ...

"Imperial March" when riding in a large group ...

... ahh, the music dial in my head is completely eclectic and flicks on to whatever happens to be next in queue when I am bop bop bopping along!

If I'm in a "I love the v-twin rumble state" then I like to hum Pinky Floyd's "Shine on you crazy diamond", otherwise it's like 98tls says, let the machine do the music for you !!!!

My bike is completely inaudible over the wind noise at cruising speed, so not an option.

If I don't have my MP3 on then it's usually Rocky, but I like to sing my own stupendous lyrical creations along to the theme tune, must remember to stop when at traffic lights tho get some funny looks....

I like to think that I am singing like this:

    But I know that I can't.
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.
