There's snow on Altimarloch and Mt Patriarch and a bit of a dusting up the back of Onamalutu...

There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
Same over the hill here Buggsy, snow around the tops on Mt Arthur ranges, was a bit chilly last night, had to light the fire.
FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, mmmmm, chopping down and burning things makes me happy.![]()
we kicked our fire in the guts last night, in the chilly wararapa, no snow, on our mountains yet, buts lots and lots of rain,,,,mmmmm......mud....yummy....![]()

Mate it happened about 2 weeks ago - sold the DR-Z a couple of weeks before that too. Ideally I would still own it, but y'know how tis.
Was on TM for a while and so got it shipped down here. Given it a light flogging in the river beds here but the official photo shoot will be waiting till I get some tyres with tread so I can show her who's boss.
A few quirks with it (like 35W BA20D fitting bulbs - european std) and will have another rack at balancing the carbs this weekend, but tunns of grunt, rides better when ridden hard and is great on the road.
Cheers, B

Oh mate, jsut dying to giver it a right seeing to in the rough stuff, but it's hard enough staying upright on the road with the tyres it's got on at the moment! My luck, went to get them swapped yesterday and someone else had bought the rear I had my eye on...wasn't up for the $150 and wear rate of a D606 that was still there...
