Amazing - someone made a BMW even more ugly. I didn't think it was possible...

Interesting work though, it'd be fun to do

Check out the green spray-painted tyres -- now you can see the chicken strips from 100m away!

I don't think they're spray painted, they're just green tyres. I first saw coloured tyres in some bike magazine many many years ago.

True.... Tyres are only black because the manufacturers add carbon to them to make them that colour.
The dirt bike boys have had coloured tyres for ages.

Can't get my head around anything other than black tyres sticking though.... It is a psyc thing, and may be why they don't sell in the road bike side of the house.

coloured tyres have been available for a few years in europe.
Some of the more suave continentals used them but in the uk they never really took off

Are you sure? See how it's worn away to black in the middle but it's stayed on his `chicken strips' and in the grooves of the tyre?

If they're meant to look like that then that's a bit rubbish I think!

It doesn't actually look 'worn away to black' to me, it looks more like dirt from the road. A hose and a brush should make it bright green again!

Example from the Tomahawk tyres website:
