Thread: WOF noise test

I just lay them on their side and hold the throttle open.....you need to plant your foot on them pretty hard as they want to buzz across the floor.

I don't think that dangerous guy will want to hurt me for that, because they are just scooters after all....

    Noise test wof

Had the V twin in for WOF with baffles put back in the yoshis, they didnt even test for noise, how could such a beautiful low rumble be offensive to anyones ears.
Got home baffles out in 5 minutes. Back to how an SV should really sound...how all bikes should sound.

Now a 2 stroke, without baffles even that would offend me and I can put up with alot of noise.

I thought this was a 'bit' funny. Guy on V-Rod with Vance and Hines pipes get stickered, right? So, where to put the green paperwork? On the plate. Brilliant. Now rider can go like fuck (all the way home) without fear of being plucked by cameras or whatever. I loved it.

I bet all the testers don't know this but it may pay you to
That's probably because those are LVVTA specs/guidelines (Low Volume Vehicle Technical Association) - ie for certifiers (for modified vehicles), not warrant of fitness inspectors.
