What a fcuking mission. It wasn't pretty. Open the throttle and hold on. Suspension stopped working about three quarters the way up, so I was just a passenger.

What's with the DR suspension? Works OK for a while, but push it for a couple of minutes of lumpy shit, and it just gives up. No rebound.

Plenty of photos to come, and thanks for coming along Graeme. You did bloody well today. Awesome day out.

    Oh...and thanks for the entertainment

Congrats Bart, we await your full report. Oh no, what bad habits did you teach GT?

Cheers Gav. I had to get up there before you did. You'd probably make it look easy.

GT did real well considering he's quite new to this. Smoked the first uphill, and I could barely keep up through the river crossings on the way out.

Come on you Norf Island klrers!!! A DR got up before you.

If I wasn't sitting here with my leg in traction I would have to come down and do it myself.

Well I probly wouldn't but am a little stir crazy so am posting more shit than usual.

Good on you Bart, and you weren't that confident with your tyre and gearing etc.

When I saw GT standing thru the river crossings I thought " Ah Grasshopper you did good".
Here's a video of his first trail ride only a month ago.

I've posted up some pics over on the other site. It seems to be a bit more photo friendly. You'll have to scroll down the page a bit.
