Red Bull City Scramble - Wgtn travel?

Im getting quite excited about this .. a formative step toward bringing our sport 'out of the closet'. Will be a grand event.

Any Wellington folk interested in going and having a squizz?.

Since I heard there is a pub next door to the event Im even keener now.

I was planning on getting a cheapie return airfare to aucks (should be around 120 or so) and staying in the central backpackers in queen street for the night. Shouldn't involve too much expenditure, just the ole beer coupons to worry about... eatings cheating.

    The more the merrier!

Kez', whats the story bo', ru keen or what?

the idea had crossed my mind but i was kinda thinkin i'd drive up and take the bike to check out the sandpit but it's gonna cost too much and i don't trust my van over that distance.

It'd be a really cool thing to watch and if i lived up there i wouldn't miss it but not quite worth the cash considering the measly amount of disposable income available to me

hehe' fair enough. You mean your gonna go all the way up there just to ride woodhill? jeez' theres more forest in Tangi - less whooped out stuff and virgin turf in places. Ask flang master - he'll be keen to go with you guys if he can get out of the sack ... ah well' enough smart arserey, itll cost you chaps about a grand all up there n back including accomodation, beers, entry fee to woodhill, chops n sausages etc.

Should wait for a KB sanctioned event there.. then again ....could carry on up north to 4-strokes turf... now thats some riding! (Ahipara / 90 mile etc)...
