Yeah nice night out of Auckland thats for sure.

So many crashes and botched landings etc. The one on one was a highlight for me.

Good to see Reed getting pressured by some kiwi's too.

I was on a bit of a low while watching, all I wanted to do was hit those tripples! That was till I heard that the lips were rutted foot peg depth!!! Hmmmm….scary!

I couldnt see the up face of the large tripple on the far side.(Old side) but the middle one looked fine and they kept fixing it anyway.

Its a shame Auckland doesnt have a public SX track, id pay good money to ride some of that.

Apparently the soil was too soft for whoops

dude, that was the cream of the crop of nz riders, and they struggled!
would be cool to ride something like that though, i hear mason phillips has a US style track like that, we should go down some time, even tokaroa

Yeah they struggled the first 1/2 for sure, but I thought they got alot better as the night went on, they are damn good riders the top crop in NZ & it's not their fault they've come off National MX & had a short period to convert to SX.

It was a great night I thought & my take was given a decent build up & given a season that allowed NZ MX/SX & Aussie SX, they would be extremely competitive, especially in the lites. But at the moment we are behind the 8-ball in NZ, though I think we've got the talent if not experience.

It is called Leading Edge, just out of Te Puke. Try getting details via MotoGB in Tauranga as Davie Fisher is also involved with the track.

I have yet to hear when it is open this summer.

Drove past it on the way to Hamilton on Sat.
They have made the jumps heaps bigger than last summer. I think BT has had some influence on the layout as I've heard he's using it for practice.

Hamilton SX was well worth the trip over. Symmands and Moss look like following in Chads footsteps.
