would be cool to ride something like that though, i hear mason phillips has a US style track like that, we should go down some time, even tokaroa
Yeah it took a while to get into it but I thought once they got used to the track all the riders rode really well. Almost all of the riders were hitting the tripples.
Everytime I've been down to Tokoroa the SX track has never been open for riding. Almost seems like they don't want people riding the SX track outside of the actual races.

Struggled? Even Chad had a few sketchy moments but thats to be expected when your pushing 100% on race day. Id line those tripples up any day under casual conditions and im sure you would too.
    Yep sounds good, im keen!

So did it damage every stadium in Australia too...???
I'd say not as I'm sure they use the same venues every year.

when the superx was on the news, yea it surprised me too, the order went something like.

    rugby game
    players talk about the game
    coaches talk about game
    fans talk about game
    rugby game from another country
people talking about the game from another country
rugby players who didnt play but said something on some website once
the coach talking about how hes old and whats this internet business
    netball
    cricket
cheese rolling ( maybe not but they would if they could )

fuck if all they are worried about is the grass dying we should just buy them a couple of bags of grass seed. Fucks it's only grass they can have some of mine i got 2 paddocks that are growing to fast for my liking. Lol

Start making silage, if things don't change Northland is in for a drought & there's a few guys up here who'd like some extra .

Seriously, you're not being fair, stadium grass has to be specialised varieties & really well looked after, though I wonder how wet & long it was before the ply went down, sounds like it started rotting.

Interesting link (grass issue). That figure of 5000 tonnes of dirt must be out by a zero or two though. Enormous amount of work and expense. Wonder what the all the $ come to, does it pay or does council chip in? Sounds like turf problem is a deal breaker.

motocoorg. Hope you don't mind, couldn't resist tweaking a couple of your pics. Dark shots often have plenty of hidden juice.

Suspension in that first pic is well compressed aye!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
