So Dea, do you ride? That's good about the bike! Good that there's not as much time off! Poor you!!! You'll have to put up with the 'man moan'. It will be worse than the 'man flu' probably! I don't envy you!

Yea getting back into riding, had a major op myself 6 weeks ago, so now thinkin about gettin a lowering kit and running the WR in myself, he would be soooo pleased not. Cases of the Man Flu are bad enough I am suspecting this will be terminal As long as he has access ti his man cave I think he will be fine.

Thats pretty much what I found when I first rode one, and I was surprised after all the 2stroke boys had told me the near opposite!

Nice vid by the way, enjoyed watching that.

cheers, yeah I didn't realise it at the time but the visor has grafiks that point like an arrow, kinda gives a nice touch to the video I reckon.

Thank you soo much for helpin Jinxy out.

Jinxycat had his op last night, he has ended up with a plate after all too much damage to do scaffolding in the end, knee a bit squished too.

Gonna get the WRF sorted next week and be back up at woodhill hopefully weekend after next. Jinxycat will be on the trailer givin out autographs and probably orders.

Well, I sort of haven't really been able to be back on here for the last couple of days as its been rather busy. We decided to level the complete farm track and re grass it all for the farmers as previous users have just used it, paid a small amount of koha and left.

Generally a fairly good day with close to 450 riders all up. No Council, neighbour issues this time round (we ain't going away) so its all good. Apart from the one dick that decided to remove the signs at the end of the road. Next year we'll put a freakin guard on it with a shot gun.

We've also learn't a few lessons (as you do) as we are fairly new to running these events. We've purchased a bully(no, not one to harrass the locals) but a D3 type with a 4 in 1 bucket.
Most of Woodhill is young (under 15yrs) and at 10-12 years old they thin to waste the trees. Meaning they take out every 2nd tree and just fell it and leave it on the ground.
This is a new method as before they used to take these trees away for posts and strainers. This means we now have to chain saw thru them to put a new track in. A very time consumming exercise. So next year we will put the dozer through and try to make new yellows (especially the access tracks) to cope with rider numbers. For those of you that didn't do the reds they were great.

The bully will also be used at the Kawasaki Sandpit to make and maintain the MX track, new MX track and to clear the clear fell in certain areas.

Glad that Jinxycat and our 3 staff are alive, albiet a tad sore. But, hey thats riding.

The good news is that we can continue to use the farm for a few more events.Wouldn't a two man starting and ending from there be cool.
At least you'd get to see some racing as a spectator.....hmmm thinkin...

Thanks to all that helped on the day, in the emergency room, the kitchen, sign on, around the tracks etc etc. You know who you are

    Hi guys,

I have a few photos to load up!
(that was me being annoying with the camera on the side of the track)
Unfortunately I have no idea how to load them up here practically.

I have loaded them to my facebook here. (hope it works)

If you can’t get this perhaps you can recommend another way for me to post them for every one?

If any one wants full size photos for printing just email me josh_cragg@hotmail.com

Hi Dea / Jinxycat hope hes doin fine. Not a prob re. the help on the bale, what goes around comes around I say. When I did my knee in it was 2 blokes hanging out in the forest with me for hours on end waiting for the ambo.

Have to say, it may have been a pretty "nothing" crash, but the way that leg wrapped around the tree and sling shot that boot off... I was feeling queezy for hours. Perhaps for your next ride, a pair of braces wouldnt go amiss... :-) At least your pants are in one piece - the ambo lady and I had a bit of a "disagreement" about that one as I had a swiss army knife... But noooo she had obviously had a few riders complain about the treatment of the gear in the past (including me)!

How you doing anyway? My husband broke his femur and had to get a rod put in, no where near as bad I know but those legs take awhile and yep Dea your right, its like a man flu only 100 times worse! But you'll be riding in no time and running that beast in. Again thanks to Buffy and the others for stopping and helping. Needed a lot of people just to slow some idiot riders hell bent on flying through the trees past an accident with me yelling blue murder at them ha ha. Yes it was me, you know who you are....

Re the ride, the forest loop was the best I reckon, but then again I hate whoops with a vegence so the yellow was hell for me. I really enjoyed the day, after my adrenaline calmed down that is. So thanks to the organisers.

Went riding with Buffy, Justin and a few others incl. my husband to Woodhill Moto Park on Sunday, was a blast! Recommend to anyone. Well groomed and lots of good tracks. A+++ Trade-Me Rating.
