    Tis A Worthy Cause

The ride is tp raise funds for a hydraulic lifter for a kid in a wheel-chair. Stroudy will be there and there's a free sausage and beer at the end of the ride.

Rather damp, and slow. And rather too much paperwork and talking. All in a good cause but, and good to see so many turn out despite the weather.

    Damp Ride

Yes. Twas a rather damp ride, but worth the effort. Little Fergus must be at least $4k closer to getting his van and lifter.

I wore my leathers for the occasion. Dick-head me! I should have stuck with my very reliable, totally dry and warm dayglow outfit.

Jesus H Christ! (a very fitting exclamation given that a significant proportion of the riders were God botherers) I got really cold after my leathers soaked up a few litres of water.

Ah, I was toasty warm and dry. A little too warm if anything. Even my feet stayed dry, go the paratroops.

With a couple of grand thrown in by GT Radials and an insurance company the total raised was $7,500

Pretty good effort for such inclement riding weather.

Not a bad day at all - topped off of course by seeing Andrew Stroud on the Victory

My feet stayed dry until i stopped at a R.O.B and all the water behind my legs ran into my boots. So looking into wet weather gear. but got a bag of goodies and even won a bag of goodies. Wife won a day on a harley which was today. Cool she is now hooked on riding. Even though it rained she cant stop talking about me getting my full so she can come along to these rides.
If you cant fix it with a hammer, Its an electrical problem.
