Trust me, once you start sampling the wares it becomes very hard to settle on just one.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Wife stabs husband over Harley: Police

    The Journal Gazette

A man reported that his wife, enraged about his new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, attacked him in his northeast-side home Tuesday, slashing and stabbing his arm.

Police were called to the stabbing in the 7300 block of Chivington Drive, near East State Boulevard and Maplecrest Road, about 8:45 p.m.

The victim told officers his wife came to his house and attacked him with a steak knife. She was angry about his recent purchase of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and accused him of trying to pick up “Harley women,” the report said.

He was treated at a hospital for cuts to his arm. His wife, Lisa Barnett, 45, was arrested Thursday on preliminary charges of battery and domestic battery.

Driving back from Wanaka to Christchurch today, in the car, with the family on very empty roads, my mind wondered to bikes (as it often does). It occurred to me around the Southern roads that this would be ideal Harley (or 'cruiser') territory. Good quality roads, nice open corners with just enough tight stuff to keep it interesting - long straights with beautiful scenery.

Superb cruising roads - 110 or there abouts and enjoying the ride not the race.

    Just a thought.
Yep.Thats why we come down every year.

We got sick of heading south every year............

So we moved south instead; it's cut the commuting time dramatically.

Pleasant? Ooh, don't know if that's the word I'd use. The last time I travelled on NI roads I was taken aback by the amount of traffic; that was one of the main reasons we fled south. We might take in one or two events but ultimately we've done our dash north of Cook Strait.

I agree - honest to God, it's almost like a different country all together.

They even talk differently, nobody rolls their R's unless they're pissed. In fact, more often than not (especially in Auckland) R's are heard as W's unless it's supposed to be W then it's an R.
