Although it would be good to be able to tuck away those exhaust pipes a bit more,as they would be limiting right hand cornering.
    Job done. Good old Supertrapp.

Oh blah. Who cares what someone rides. I have seen plenty of dick heads, snobs and deadbeats on all sorts of bikes. I have to say Harleys are quite comfortable to pillion on as well, and I do like the sound.

Go on admit it, it's the vibration aint it ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Yes - good on them.
HOG isn't my thing either - works for them and I wish them all the best for having beautiful machines that they enjoy.

If we're talking stereotypes (not meaning you ms cat) I think a Dentist or Accountant who has a nice Hog is the kinda guy I want to employ.

I used to have bias against machines and makes. Till I started riding all of them. Then I realised it was dopey. There is no general rule.

Folks at the Boulevard Rally are remarkably similar to the folks at the Hog Rally and at the RAT rally or the Cold Kiwi.

    They just have different tastes.

    Excellent post BD !

To each his own is the way it is !
I have a so called mate who flames me for riding with Jappas, or even thinking of buying jap (race bike even)
He's stuck with his biker attitude (it's not like he's a patch member, or even riding with any anymore) and to be honest it's his problem not mine !
But then i find he is boring to ride with, because he'd rather ride through say, the manawatu gorge than taking the pahiatua track lol
I'd give anything to have a harley in the garage beside the triple (or a garage), then i'd also give anything to have a ZX10 in there as well !
Not so sure about a Boulevard though, but if i was given one ! Well, like i'd say no ?

I like my VFR as it is now. Then again I should, I put the various fruit salad there.

In about a year or so though the mileage will be such that it'll be time to decide whether to sell it or perhaps keep it a lot longer.

So at this stage one starts looking around at what's available. Blue Wing it seems insist on importing only half the Honda range so that basically rules a new Honda out.

I've never owned a twin so that idea has appeal. The front runner is a new Bonnie but the XR1200 is growing on me. At only 65 I'm too young to own a Harley but (God willing) next year I'll be 66.

The more i see it,the more i like it.

Also, i have to agree with B.D,in that i used to have a bias in cars,(i was a staunch holden man.) but now,i couldn't give a hoot what anyone wants.

If it works for you,and you like it,cool.

It would be a fucking boring world if we all had the same taste.
