    Road rage! Someone had enough?

Been riding a lot this last couple of months and have come across a LOT of roadworks, that time of year i guess but this bit is on one of my fav loops & think one of the locals has had enough. The land is subsiding and has constant repairs.

Had to do double take and thought it worth a snap (on phone so not so good a pic)

id love a sticker like that that i could use. our shit hole city is basically one big road repair center. the road i used to use daily has two lots of works, at opposite ends of the road. bascially, we literally cant go anywhere without hitting works of some kind. enough to drive ya up the wall.

If anyone has wondered where pot-holes go to when they are filled in... obviously WANGanui (no H) is the destination.

    Yes, Monument Road.

I've been Palmy, Raglan, Napier, East Cape, and all round Clevedon, Kaiawa etc in last 6 weeks and you can't go anywhere without stopping for Rd works & patchy at that. And thats all back roads.

Like above, gets on your wick!

Mate .... you should live up North here !!
My wife and I were down on your roads over Easter, doing a roadtrip (in wifes car) .... and couldn't believe the Naki roads!!! They are bloody awesome compared to most of ours in Northland!
Even driving out to Whangamomona from Stratford and back, it was..... a 'challenge' over those saddles .... but the road surface was still good!

The road from W(H)anganui .... up around the coast to New Plymouth was brilliant !!!!! Riding paradise ..... no traffic !! Osum !!

Agreed. It is rubbish up here at the moment. Was doing the Russell Road in the weekend and spent most of my time crawling around corners because of the metal on the roads (not sign posted of course).

Yeah that`s one lumpy piece of road, especially going down the hill , breaking to go around the left-hander at the bottom. Whre do we get those stickers from? They would sell like hotcakes.

I can attest to that - Northland roads are shocking! Went up to Spirits Bay on a fishing expedition and once we were an hour or so north of Whangarei the road turned to shite.

I also didn't know that the last 10km or so of SH1 to Cape Reinga is still gravel? WTF? This is SH1 - the main road in NZ isn't it?
