Could someone recommend a good pair of gloves that will last pretty well for trial riding etc?
Thanks.

We get them on special where we can but I have noticed the more expensive ones (and I mean $45ish not $95-00) do have better padding in and around the thumb and palm area where you get all the hurt coming in once you've been on the bike for a couple of hours solid. So don't go to cheap would be my reccomendation.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
no fear ones dont seem to last as well as fox, dirtpaws are quite good so far
i had the no fear ones with the carbon fibre knuckle, they were good for fending off roose and branches but the palm wore thru real quick
I had to wear a pair of welding gloves dirtbiking once. wouldn't recommend it.![]()

fox are good mine have lasted quite well till i grabed the exhuast pipe last week by mistake..
I try to the one that are well padded and dont have stich line on the under side of your knuckes find they are only good for large blisters.

I seem to chew through gloves real fast, had some axo ones that lasted about 3 rides before they started ripping and the bottom of the thumb, then got some oneil ones that didnt do much better. Finally splashed owt and spent $45 on some thor ones, they seem to be the business, been on a heap of rides and they r still holding up, they look cool to.
My choice is what I choose to do,
And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you.
Thor is good gear overall I reckon!! Pretty underated! Not to badly priced.

Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
Nathan Woods R.I.P.

"The world is a strange sad place. Ride as often as possible and try not to think about it".
I loved my Alpine star ones I first had, but they were a bit pricey. I've got Fox ones now, they are good, but the double layer is a bit annoying as it bunches.
Had Shift cheap ones and they sucked, heaps of bunching. Got Scott SRE's and they are good for that, torpedo7 has good deals every so often
