Talking Me so happy! New bike...

Look what I picked up today.

Managed to stall a couple of times getting used to the hydraulic clutch, but after that, oohhh ... the adrenalin!

She's already got yoshies, a lowered seat, inch extended mirrors, setup suspension etc.

Will probably get some gel grips and possibly bar risers, but the love is there, oh yes.

    Aint she purdy ?

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Nice ! No handbrakies now !!!
Ummm lowered seat or altered Tbone in the suspension !
Oh and set up suspension is relative Burtha, Set up for who ?
Many happy days of riding ahead by the looks !
And if ya gonna look at replacing ya grips, look at heated ones as they are gelly like and waaaaarrm !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

No chance of handbrakies - am granny riding at the mo as have been on a 250cc metro scoot so tis a weeee bit of an adjustment!

No - complete new seat - got all the original parts too plus an EXTRA set of cans that I will probably sell off when settled in.

I'm an odd ball and actually like cold hands and feet!
Am probably going to get these gel grips tho ...

Mine aren't - they're fat and hard and currently only heat when they feel like it.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

May I ask how tall you are and how much has the seat been lowered?

A beauty and it looks new, how many kms on the bike? Be careful with the throttle on corners and in the wet, until you have lots experience.

I'm 5"5' (1.64 ish). Not sure yet how much lower seat reduced by but must be at least 10cm.

    It basically is new.
Its an 03 model that the dealer was going to keep for himself and never got around to using it so sold it to the chap I bought it from late 2006. He had all the rubbers, parts etc checked for any degredation but all was fine.

He's babied it, run only 3,200 km on the clock and its never even been out in the rain.

Oh yea, will be taking it easy for quite some time.

    This was it here ...

Wow! that's a fine looking bike.
Remember try and keep the revs above 3000 rpm in any gear, these motors are magic and give no problems, but like to revved a bit, more than laboured.
Enjoy it , but take care for the first few months aye.
Have you taken the baffles out of the yoshis yet... gotta do it.. pure magic.
