fuck....I have a staff meeting on wednesday....
Is there something wrong with you Andrew?
OK
I will be changing my front tire but I'll be showing up at around 7, maybe earlier if i can speed up the staff meeting process.
Is this still correct?Where: Gloucester Motor Company
Cnr Gloucester Street & Fitzgerald Avenue
When: From 6pm each Wednesday
Do you guys have the patience and kindness to teach a noob some basic skills?
I've had my Suzuki NZ250 for about two months, and I'm currently experiencing some electrical woes (battery not charging properly, and, as of this morning, starter not wanting to go, either).
Aside from that, I'm pretty much completely new to bike maintenance in general, so a basic education would be astoundingly helpful.
Is there a cost for these meet-ups, or are they someone's expression of love for the motorbike/kiwibiker set?
Cheers.
The details are correct, the charge is bring a attitude of wanting to learn as folks will help you but are not there to do the job for you, as for patience and kindness thats what these evenings are all about
Now on to your issues, have you any idea how old the battery is? 2-3 years is normal depending on the make and maintenance, 5 is achievable with care and diligence, a faulty battery will not hold a charge or charge correctly, and of curse will lead to starting issues.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
I started a thread about it here. Now on to your issues, have you any idea how old the battery is?
The battery was replaced a few weeks ago, and, checking it with the multimeter, I don't think it's the issue, but as I admitted above, I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff.
Otherwise these meet-ups sound great, though I guess I also must ask if your patience and kindness extends to foreigners. :-D I'm from Minnesota, in the States, but nabbed residency here a few weeks ago.
I think I will try and make it.
