Well I am wondering if I was lucky or unlucky, as I pulled up the drive the oil light came on, hmm no oil pressure check the level as I hadn't for a week or two, sight glass is hard to see through, odd I will put bit in to see if its low 2 litres later, no change in the glass.

Figured I would take the bung out, well I don't know what has contaminated the oil or if it has just given up the ghost, but it was only warm and ran out like water. Just glad it did not happen on the way out of town, but I am wondering now how much it costs to get it tested to see if it just died or something has gotten to it, cant see how anything got in there though.

yeah, the bikes diagnostic has detected a fault in the low fuel light circuit.

I've had a poke under the tank but cant see anything, had a poke behind the dash but that's all secure and sweet

and the yamaha dealer just closed down here too, suppose to be another one opening but they weren't too sure about where or when.

Next week being the last week before we ride we're going to have a BBQ at Wayne's workshop to celebrate. Wayne's got the BBQ and Steve is kindly donating enough sausages to keep us all happy, so if you're coming along next week make sure you bring some booze and any other meat you want

Dude, that's a crazy question. You shouldn't even have to ask.
    It's a BBQ not a ride aye.

I too will have to test drive the Lotus to make sure it is of worthy stature to sit amongst the ranks of us bikers.

    God kings that we are.
