To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
I second what Boob said...I remember Mikey fairly well but am unable to draw the link or possible link, of this chap being our historical Mikey...someone wanna provide me with the fill in?
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
ixion, you should REALY stop the drinking before riding aye, its messing you up
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
It is what it is
Since it isn't a legal requirement to have a speedometer on a bicycle then the police can go fuck themselves on that one IMO.
Back in the days when I was young and fit I used to take great delight in overtaking the nifty fifties on the main street of Hamilton while riding my 12 speed.
maybe not - but it is a legal requirement not to exceed the limit. Exceed it and they are well within the limit of the law to ticket you.
Remember the idiot riding the lawnmower that got done for DIC . . .
Nifty's are cool, especially when they suddenly realise you've been drafting them and then they try and out run you![]()
It is what it is
Try this for size...
I remember back in the earlish eigties, the plod had a couple of GPz900's when they were still new as motorway mufti bikes. Then they used VFR750's also later on.
So it's not a new idea by any means.
We've all seen the pics of Hayabusa cop bikes....
"...you meet the weirdest people riding a Guzzi !!..."
You can only get done for EBA (not DIC) on a pushbike if there is a local authority bylaw. It's not general law.
Also, visited a mate at police college last year and remember seeing a brand new police bike in their service bay. It most definitely wasn't a BMW, however can't remember exactly what it was, being new to bikes. Kawasaki perhaps? It did look good though!![]()
