I don't think it's "okay" as such but i know there are situations where you can't afford reg or wof. It is bloody EXPENSIVE!!!

If you don't have it you risk making your insurance void (i think) and depending on your bike. That could be a lot more of a punishment than $800 in fines that this "pig" gave you.

Oh, i've got a Learner plate you or anyone else that wants one can have too btw. Just PM me

    Make sure they're blue ones.

Why did he stop you? Were you speeding? Lane splitting? I've found that when I have some legal hiccup that if I keep a low profile I don't get stopped....usually.

Provided your bike is safe who cares about the paperwork? I rode my bike with no WOF the other day........down to VTNZ to get a WOF.

And you cunts giving me shit, give me all you want. I know for certain you wouldn't be doing it in person.
I would, but I actually have some sympathy for you. (Yes, I dislike cops.) Years ago I kept getting stopped by a traffic cop in Wellington, he was a right fuckwit, he ended up getting stabbed. Anyway, even with a wof he'd go over my car. There are some tossers in blue out there.

Mate in all seriousness (and I only read the first page) but if you can't afford to ride the bike on the road... catch the bus.

Not ideal I know - not as much fun either. But sometimes reality has to be accepted and you just do it.

Look - I've been there. Student days riding a fun bike that was outside the law (WoF only but it was still outside the law) and I hit a car. So - I had to pony up with the money and pay the guy.

It hurt like a bitch but it was a good lesson.

Me thinks the couple of fines might just be that same lesson - who'd have thought? The cop doesn't hate you. It might be an idea to consider the cop as someone enforcing the law... you broke it. You pay. That's the way it works. Not good or bad - not right or wrong - it's just the way it works.

The cop is simply doing their job. Accept it - stop making yourself a target for fines and move on. There's some good advice in here on minimising the financial impact - so take it, put your pride to one side for a sec and just deal with it.

Bro dont let them get to you, obviously there were things you did wrong in this scenario, but you dont have much money as stated so i can relate to you.
Stuff the others winding you up, get a 400 if its the only cheaper option just make sure you are aware of the consequences financially. And dont except sympathy on a thread next time you get done by the pigs, kia kaha.

Here's an idea. Go down to the police station and ask nicely for a donation - I am sure someone there would be happy to help you out considering the entertainment you must have provided in the lunchroom. Seriously, if I was that cop pulling you over for the second time and writing out the same bloody tickets I had the last time - I'd be laughing my head off.

And stop the internet tough guy shit - you'll only dig the hole deeper - besides it's unbecoming coming from someone who's supposedly engaged in intellectual pursuits.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Getting tickets is an intellectual pursuit?
