Glad you're OK WT. Can't have been too bad, since you were able to ride away- on one wheel no less.
Well that settles it then. No mono's for me. I get the impression that you are a fairly talented rider (for a northener ), soooo if you can f^ck it up, then there's an excellent chance of me doing same. I shall resist the evil wheelie!

You have in your midst, the latest KB Fucktard.

He owns a decidedly second hand Gixxer 1K. We have a term here amongst the Welly crew and this best describes his bike.

    It's been Maired!

I really don't want to divuldge too much info as to how this happened as it could bite me very badly in the arse but for the first time I can honestly say, I thoroughly deserved that one.

For those who give a toss, injury wise I have a couple of small grazes, a sprained ankle and a real nice graze/asphalt burn on my right hip.

The bike is easily fixable once the fairing pannel is replaced and the bars aren't even bent.

So in closing, I was going too fucken fast, on too few wheels, and being extremely cocky. All a good recipe for disaster.

Maired is a phoenetically spelt as it is not actually a word that is currently acknowledged by Websters, when an object is maired or mared it has been the result of an event that resembles a night'mare'.

    Thanks.

Thankyou to all for your support.

I'm not feeling bad or sorry for myself or the bike or anything. When you ride a motorcycle in the fashion some of us do full time, it's only a matter of "when" and "how big" not "if".

You southern red necks aint getting off easy either, the benefits of living with an A-grade mechanic is your bike gets pushed to the front of the que. A few of us had a good drinking session last night while hunting for an 8mm socket, the bike's looking just fine and dandy for next weekend.

I've been going easy on my wraps too Aaron, I wont waste your time mate.

I'm printing this, and posting it on the front door of the aforementioned bike shop. I'm sure the customers will find it humerous hehehe

I hope the benefits of knowing someone, who knows an A-grade mechanic are almost as good? If one was ever in need of one? Ey???
