    Sandpit or Thunder for mates Bday? next w.e.

    Mates Bday is next w.e... Cant decide where to go. Would prob be riding n the Sunday [5th]

    Neither of us have been to either Thunder or the Sandpit.

    Which dya reckon would be better for next w.e, and wheres everyone headed? The more the merrier...

    the sandpit!!! its alot better and is much larger
    chuck norris's calender goes from march 31st to april 2nd

    yeah i does look quite good, its quite alot futher though as well. At least doesnt matter if its raining though... Really i was just asking where is everyone off to... gotta have some faster riders to ride with in a place like that

    next sunday if the 3rd?
    depends what you like, the sandpit is great if you like sand and single track, although its not for everyone
    thunder at its longest is only about 10k long i think, so by the end of the day its more like a race track but if its rained alot, then it will be really slippery, and i mean REALLY slippery and it cuts up quite bad, which is alright if you can ride greasy slippery clay, but again not for everyone

    down to weather, if its rained alot the sandpit will firm up quite well, and thunder will be like wet clay and if it hasnt rained then thunder will be like dry clay and the sandpit will be really soft loamy and sinky like dry sand



    im probably doing the woodhill top trailrider enduro thats on this weekend
    we may just go where no ones been

    its so worth the trip though, tracks out of this world man.
    dirt + sand + sawdust + that pumicy type soil = its got it all, and the jumps are mint. Plus is sweet fun even in the rain!
