Being a few cm shy of 2m tall, I DON'T like the fact that I feel like a clown ontop a itty bitty bike. That and the glaring yellow plate on the back that needs to come off. Six months to go. Six months!

Aside from the obvious fact that it's a Hyo...

The header system is absolute crap and rattles like nobody's business.

    It's slow.

Man - some of the complaints here!
I know what gear the VFR is in (without a gear indicator), I have no problems with comfort, the mirrors have good vision, the tank has good capacity, the lights are good, the pillion accommodation is fine, the handling is good, it doesn't need any more gears (in fact, I lowered the gearing).
All the things I thought needed fixing have been (better horns, disabled the O2 sensors and fitted a Power Commander with a pretty good map, fitted a Ventura packrack, replaced the rear shock and front springs, replaced the urrgleee front indicators, blah blah blah).
I've sometimes considered test-riding other bikes like various Triumphs, Ducatis, etc, but what's the point? This bike does everything I want it to, is a great all-rounder, sounds good, goes well, is very reliable, and very well made.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

It'll wheelie of the throttle in the first 3 gears, wheelies are neither big nor clever.

Who am I kidding wheelies are cool and big wheelies are very clever.

I love my bike to bits and cant fault it.

If you dont like it dont ride it.

One thing I do really like about the things I did not like (WTF!) on the Hornet is changing them. I like altering bits, plus it makes it just that bit more....mine.
Bars, mirrors, turn-signals, grab handle removal etc. Mufflers & tail tidy to come (winter project).

    About that gear indicator..........

Getting told/reminded that I will die a horrible gruesome death every time a random non-biker stops to comment or talk about the bike - which is at almost every gas station

Good point! It was not that long ago that you spent Saturday wrenching so you could ride on Sunday!
