Raise the float level, start with a 1mm adjustment. The cutting out throttling off is a pretty good indicator, requiring the choke to restart is a pretty good indicator too. If you have an idle mixture adjustment screw, you will want to set that after adjusting the float height.

Thanks Guys for all the replys

I had taken the carb off and adjusted the floats
As it was pouring fuel out when I first got it
I tried setting it to 16 mm but I doint think I was too acurate.

Will check it again and make sure carb is stright up and down.

    Max
    Reverse engine
    You have a great imagination

Maybe you have knocked your head after falling off your bucket!

My twin Brother did well on his bucket
Fell off in his last race on Sunday but had a lot of fun.
coming about middle of the pack

I will let you know how I get on with my cutting out issue

    Cheers

Where do you take the measurement from? I mean, 16mm from where to where?

Also Grant, those std foam air filters aren't great. I wonder whether bits are being sucked into the carb.
I'm looking around for an after market replacement, intake diameter is around 32mm.

I did the Gadgit suggestion of enlarging the fuel cap vent awhile ago and it's an easy mod.

Let us know what you find out, good pic of the bucket bro
