Actually, it wasn't the rider, it was the pillion. But since you ask, they point at the lights and use the hand in a palm downward motion. There were lots more options available to them at the time - not a word was said when we stopped.. they would rather ridicule me on a public forum, and publish other private information that we made it clear they should not. Hey what a great way to meet KBer's ! That was the first person over 30 years we have EVER invited into our house and wished we hadn't. Never again. What a shame to have an experience like that ruin it for others.

Not sure what, or who you're talking about there. The rider i'm talking about was THE RIDER, not a pillion, and as far as i'm aware, they've never been to your house.

Either way, the rider in front shouldn't have to figure out a way to signal you to stop blinding them. If you had been courteous to other road users in the first instance the same way that they are to you (by not blinding you), it wouldn't be a problem.

Entirely depending on the individual headlights. I can look directly into my lights on full beam during the day, from any angle, and not be blinded.
