Smile 2010 KTM Capital Coast Adventure

Get out the 2010 calendar and mark out the weekend of Saturday 20th March for the CCA. It'll be the same flavour as previous events - about 200km, 50% off-road, all within a 40km radius of central Wellington. This time we'll have a half-day option for those that prefer a less taxing day.

The KTM & KRN crews will be there with a fleet of KTM test bikes so you can sample these glorious machines in the conditions for which they were built. Knobbly tyres are highly recommended for the CCA.

The event will be based at Plimmerton School again where you can pitch a tent on the field and we'll have the usual mammoth spit-roast feed afterwards. We'll stop by TSS Motorcycles Lower Hutt KTM showroom for refreshments. There'll be a pre-event gathering on the Friday night at the Plimmerton Boating Club where route sheets will be issued. Bring your lunchbox, scissors and selotape and get a meal too.

Participants must pre-enter, entries close 1 week prior, a late entry fee of $25 WILL BE strictly enforced and there will be absolutely no EOD. Entry forms and more info will be available soon.

    See http://www.CapitalCoastAdventure.co.nz for more details.

Whoohoo Bloody good timing too! First baby is due on about 10th April so if you'd made it the ANZAC weekend I wasn't going to be able to go. Fingers crossed the baby doesn't turn up early!!!

Does anybody know who owned the KTM 950 ADV S back in 06 that is in the pictures page outside the BMW shop? I now own that bike (lost the rego plate a while back though) and it would be interesting to know who the original owner was (I'm no. 3 and obviously I know no. 2).

    Cheers R

Nice one 4skins, I'll be there. You've timed it nicely again this time with no weddings getting in the way, else if you'd held it over to April like last time I'd be outta the country .
    Cheers

I will be a starter for that, looks great.

Was along that way in May this year 4 wheeling and loved it so back on the DR would be the ducks nuts!

Any chance any over stayers want to carry on for a bit and do Sutherlands track plus any other local trips that some local lads would like to take us travelers from New Zealand on?

I would love to extend my stay if poss.
