Used to go out the bombing range a bit but now the sandpit is well looked after I'd rather go there. Still a bit of fun for a change noew and again on the dunes though.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

I was at a ride in Raglan end of summer and the westpac trust helicopter was there picking up a guy who was one of the trail ride sweeps/marshals. He flipped a powerful quad over somehow and sustained serious back injuries. I saw the chopper twice as i did the loop and there were heaps of emergency workers and a filming crew.I never heard about the outcome - hope hes all right.I think this one was televised last sunday??

When those quad guys come a gutser they often hurt themselves I have noticed? Quite often by the damn thing rolling on them.

Why do people go to the bombing range when there is the sandpit around the corner..... It is illegal to ride at the bombing range as it is defense property and when things happen it is all riders who get the finger pointed at them not just the few, just like Muriwai beach.
