I don't want to upset people by bringing up an oldish thread, but I wanted to thank everyone who put their comments up here. You see, I referred back to this thread in setting up my very first trademe auction. I've sent out a bit of bling in appreciation.

I went with the $1 no reserve theory, and I have to admit it has been kind of fun checking in to see what is going on. Many thanks; you all helped me get this auction started.
