Bad luck continues. Had first crash

    Hey all

Just wanted to have a vent about my bad luck...

Here is the summary of last year
Girlfriend leaves me for some fuck wit that drives a honda (damn hondas)
Get my first ticket ($600) on bike for gong 112 on the motorway (damn L plate)
Get done for DIC for blowing 232 (damn being under 20)
DIC demeret points put me over for demerits too
Lost licence for 5 months all together

Get my licence back last tuesday and I start thinking by luck is changing
Get some zxr bits off Skidmark (still happy at this point)
Wednesday night spend from 5pm till midnight putting the zxr back together

    BAdluck comes in now
As I was on the computer researching why my new indicators didnt flash some little fucker ran up my drive way and stole my helmet which was sitting in my garage..
I borrow a helmet off a mate while Mr Motorcycles order me in a new one..
Thani comes over to go for a ride.. I suit up and we head off.

Coming into puke just cruising. I was following thani when the car in front of her slams on the brakes. Thani slams on the brakes also. All I remember seeing is her rear tyre lock up then look down and see my front tyre lock up (I think). Next thing I knew I was on the ground and bits of my faring are all over the road. We then dislodged my bike from thani's and put them to the side of the road.

Car was fine, Thanis mighty GN had a bent number plate.. And my bike well I need.

    New headlights
    New top fairing
    New mudaurd at the front
    Left Fairing

    anyways my venting is over.

Im starting to think my bike is haunted... Maybe I should throw in the towel lol

Don't do that. Okay so things haven't been that great - but when you get your bike sorted you'll jump on it and realise this is the way to release ALL your stress!!!!!

"Luck", or lack thereof, is rarely a contributor to motorcycle accidents, departure of girlfriends or to the propensity of law enforcement officials to issue speeding infringement notices.

    People make their own luck.

Personally I dont believe in bikes being haunted - but putting bits on your bike that used to belong to skidmark is as about as close to being haunted as you will get.

Look at it this way, at least your girlfriend is lucky - she got out just at the right time by the sound of it!

    What a loser.

You make your own luck in life.

Until you realise this you, will continue to be a loser.

You must be gutted and I commiserate on that basis...hope you get your bike back together soon and get to do some enjoyable riding...

But this "Get done for DIC for blowing 232 (damn being under 20)" ain't bad luck.

Thats something to be ashamed of.

What don't kill ya mkes ya stronger. there are lessons to be learned here (especially in the case of tickets, dic )
learn the lessons, get the bike fixed, and get back on the road as a wiser, smarter more capable rider and human being. Youll be right mate! I wish your bike a speedy recovery!

Tell us all what you learnt from running into the bike in front of you.

(I am hoping you dont say it was bad luck but actually discovered a basic rule of riding/driving)
