    What to buy?

Having just destroyed my 08 ZX10R i'm looking for another bike.
I've still got my 600RR for trackdays etc so am seriously considering an adventure bike for a change.Something I can comfortably cruise around 2up on with my partner.
Like the look of the BMW 650 Dakar....
    These any good?
Any thing to watch out for etc etc
Oh and I'm a bit of a short arse and can't really see myself on a BMW 1200 armchair type....

    This is getting boring....

Have a look at the threads, there is plenty of information about Adventure bikes, trail bikes and what to get....etc etc...

Try adv.com as well, lots of helpful tips and things.
Here, well, you are going to get good and bad advice and sometimes none! At the end of the day, ride them all, decide for yourself. There are plus points and negative points for all bikes, it does come down to a personal preference and budget.

Range, comfort, servicing, re-sale, looks, weight, touring capabilities, these all play a part....
You can make anything an adventure bike, the great thing is, get out there and explore!

    Good luck getting confused....I did...

The F650 GS & GS Dakar are probably the best of the single cylinder adv bikes for 2 up riding. They're relatively heavy though so what you gain in comfort you lose in off/rough road ability. They have a really reliable motor, but parts prices are steep.

Other similar size bikes with more passenger oriented seats you may want to try are the Aprilia Pegaso, Suzuki XF650, Kawasaki KLE500 & Honda Transalp.

    Cheers
