Just thought that might get some of you to look.

Now, the real reason I've lured you here: don't want to whinge, but...

a few of us thought that as fellow KBers, people here would want to send their best wishes and sympathy to the couple in Auckland who had a horrific collision with some tosser in a 4 X 4 too busy adjusting his radio to see them.

So far, there have been 25 (wonderful) messages of support for them. I count 33 people online right now. There are 1,762 members. Obviously not all of those people are active members. But SURELY we can do better than 25 posts for a couple who have just had this happen to them- the husband lost his leg- WTF?

This thing is supposed to be printed and given to them in their hospital beds tomorrow. Please, pretty please can anyone who reads this just take the time to post a simple 1 (or two if you're feeling really inspired) word note so they get something worth actually giving to them?

Sorry, Bugjuice- yes, you're right, we have.

The point that I am trying to make is that we can do better than 25 messages. I thought perhaps some people had not bothered to read those threads, and that if breasts were mentioned, they be interested enough to read this thread and then make some effort to extend their sympathy.
Unfortunately I have woefully overestimated the potential interest levels in my 'appendages'. My apologies again..

I'm not doubting a good cause, but where as people may look to see your wonderful new assests (to be a tad dissapointed), to read the same topic again, it's not going to make them post after it if they already have or not previously.. Really sorry, not trying to put a downer on it, but if you want more posts, then ramp up the one you did yesterday, or ask for it to be sticky at the top of the forum for a few days to drum up so support and messages..
I really hope they get fully better and this isn't about them... ah fuk it, post away..

Well, *my* only problem with this, Jaz, is that people will get disillusioned, and then one day when you *do* get your norks pumped up to DDs and post lots of photos, nobody will bother to read the thread...
