According to the sidecar nutters on oldskoolsuzuki.info the better way to go is to use a complete GSXR1100 bottom end, rods, pistons with an RF900 head. There's a small amount of work required to the gasket, but the power boost is ridiculous and if you put the 1993 GSXR750W cam in it and up the jets you're within the same power output as a gsxr1000 anyway.

If you must have a thou, put the RF900 crank, rods, piston and head into a GSXR1100 - 1000cc.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

look forward to seeing what front end you put on too, 'cos the standard forks get 'twisty' braking from the speeds the 936 lump will get you to.

    Thumbs up Bandit 1200

I wonder what the best way to convert a bandit 1200 to EFI is?
Probably pinch everything off a GSXR?
