Currently I'm riding on some Kenda tires (well, obviously not right this minute) now these, apparently, are shit in the cold and wet. I was recommended to get some new one's. MSTRS suggested Bridgestone BT45s. But for some reason that escapes me (old brain) the guy at the bike shop came up with some Michelin Pilot Active tires at about my price range. What say you?

I believe the Michelins he quoted are designed for the smaller cc bike.
Michelins are good shit, if the price is right go for it.
Also do a search on here for the Pilot Active as there was someone asking about these a month or so ago - unsure if he purchased but if so PM him for a opinion.

I have a Pilot Activ on rear of the Bandit.
It's done 8000kms including 4 track days.
I have no complain of product.
It probably about 1/2 worn. Grips well wet or dry.
The edges are chewed up from track days but it's wearing quite evenly. Slides progessively, hasn't ever spat me off with my ham-fisted throttle application.
I did have a BT45 on the front. It was pretty worn so I can't make a definitive comment.
Seemed good in the dry - bit nervous in the wet but it failed a warrant due to tread depth so you can't judge it on that.
Replaced the front with a Pilot Road 2. Feels very grippy in the dry and the wet. Looks to be wearing well.
When it comes time to replace the rear I'll be getting a Pilot Road 2.

Ta for the info' guys, sounds like I'm on the right track. Better to do it this way than hear "you bought what !!"
