    Down 22 again

, was such a good day a few kbers decided to have a bit of a ride.. Marmoot, 750Y, Alex ,myself, my mate Gary and his mate..

After meeting at AB papakura, we did our normal Drury off ramp, old GSR to Bombay, along the exspress way to Ridge road, down past the Late "Bugger" Dogs place and over the Tuakau bridge, small bit of road works south of the bridge held us up for a couple of mins, and then we were away.. Good pace set by everyone,, pretty uneventful till just outof Glen massey, some Fuck head farmer decided it would be fun to Chase Alex down the hill in his car, he must have known the road pretty well, at one stage he was less then a meter from Alexs back wheel, anyway he stopped at Glen Massey which allowed Alex to escape, so I stopped and had a " bit of a Chat" with him .. this proved to be a pointless exercise.

We stopped for gas at Ngaruawhia talked some guy shit (as you do), some of us knocked another day off our lives (smoko) chatted with a guy who had come down from Whangarei on his way down to the mainland (SI) for a bike tour... we were going to join him, but I have night shift tonight. :spudwhat: .

Anyway we headed back to Huntly via river view rd, and then out to Rotowaro, great pace along this bit of road, onto Hetherington Rd, stopped at the top of the ridge talked some more shit, took some photos, Dave took Garys bike for a bit of a blat.. then a short ride back onto 22 and back to Pukekawa, from here we managed to miss place Gary and his mate, sorry Guys my bad.. down to Mercer, cross SH one and up the Mercer - Mangatawhri rd, down to Lyons rd onto Paparimu, Marmoot shot on towards Hunua, 750y Dave headed home, and Alex and I rode up over ararimu and onto Ramarama , from there it was home for me and a bit of a rest b4 night shift.. Thanks for you co guys, another great ride sorry we misplaced you Gary, will ring you tonight.. have got some photos, but will need to get a geek to get them out of the diggy camera thingy and posted, bit beyond me thats sort of shit... oh yeah, and rider of the day .....Marmoot.

    Arrow Lucky buggers.

Ended up sleeping most of the day after finishing nights. Anyone who wants to go up to Awakino and back PM me and I'll let you know when we leave (on Monday).
