yeah mate. My old boss has a place up there and a couple fellas from work going so i'll probably be there unless i'm totally broke.

Have you been to other ones this year flyTM? I went to the 2 dayer last year and know it's good but is it getting cut up bad? do they grade it after every ride they have?

i did all the epic taupo rides last year and each time they were mint, they must run round the tracks with a bobcat or something.

I'd say it's not very technical really. Pretty flowing type of hoon and there's nothing that'll really stop ya. Ya do have to go down to first for the cool stuff but it'll be 3rd 4th waaaap waaaaap standies most of the weekend i recon. Gonna gear my bike up for this as i don't want the boys with 5 speeds taking me out on straights lol and it forces you to do the tech shit fast (or stall, or loop out!)

Jt: hopefully it'll piss down cos the soil up there drains really well and just turns to super tacky loam. It's dark soil and is in pine forest so with the current weather it will only be dusty on the road sections that join the forrest sections together and only if it's dry too.

Epic rides are ALWAYS good. Great trails, great trail marking, really safe and hopefully nice and cold too for that extra horsepower and less sweat ha ha

ahhhhhhh, ooops. I'm out for this one. Bugger. Work mate pulled out cos of work commitments and i don't wanna go hang with his mates (who i've never met) for the weekend so i'm gonna save the cash and go for a hoon down here. Damn was looking forward to riding on some decent soil rather than the rock, clay, grass or dust i'm so used to.

    Oh well, next time
