Damn I waited all day for the call from Big Dave or the guys at Kiwi Rider but nada, nothing, zilch, naught, nil.

This morning I checked my answerphone. Still nothing.

I thought maybe they were late in calling but then I decided to take a peek at their website.

Bugger me. I had visions yesterday. I told myself "May the 4th be with you". But May the 4th wasn't.

They gave my Triumph Scrambler to someone else in Birkenhead. yes it was Auckland but the wrong side of the bridge.

I'm shattered. I already cleared a space in the garage for it. If you've seen my garage you'll know what I mean. That was hard work but done willingly.

10 minutes later... I'm back. Okay you folks at Kiwi Rider I'm going to keep the faith. That "Kawasaki" that's coming is that available to existing subscribers as well.

The Scrambler ios in the wrong garage... buggger. What went wrong with "the Secret". I visualised, I had positive thoughts, okay I didn't pray but I did everything the book said. I think. I haven't read it but i've heard about it.


Anyways.... congrats to that guy David in Birkenhead. Bet he has one humungous smile. (My smile)

So that's how my May the 5th started. Going to be a beaut day though. It can only get better.

toof... yeah right. Isn't that the worlds best job you have their. Given a bike for free, told to go for a long ride and then when you get back go on line or write about the thing.

I am free for test rides and second opinions if you need them just PM me. Or if you need to do a multi-bike comparison and need another rider.

I think it's only fair that those that are blessed with riding so many bikes should be excluded.

I'll give you my number for next time. Save you fishing through the bucket for it. Clearly you can't be relied on to do that job for me.

Great promo by the way and thanks for offering the bike up. I'll pull the pictures down now.

So tell me do existing subscribers qualify for the new comp. And yes I'm free today if you need a rider.

I'm planning to keep it free for Big Dave's next bike offering.

I just need him to tell me that existing subscribers qualify.

Failing that I have a project that my 10 year old wants to have a go at so we'll be stripping down and rebuilding a Suzuki GSXR 50.

And I want a pre 89 race bike.

Clearly too many wants and not enough room.

My understanding is if you subscribe or extend a subscription within the period you are in the draw.
