nah its not a dent, its just the contour of the tank. I like the one with the cbr down the bottom, trying to picture it red, with the tank/top fairing extended down a little to cover the contour in the tank (like my previous piss poor paint effort) I think hat would possibly be the go!!!!

I'm old enough to remember when the original colour scheme looked good!
The greatest pleasure of my recent life has been speed on the road. . . . I lose detail at even moderate speed but gain comprehension. . . . I could write for hours on the lustfulness of moving swiftly.

at this point, I am pretty sold on this one, except in red. Ive emailed some painters already and sent photos including some of the ones you talented people have done up for me to get quotes.
thanks for the effort guys, I have blinged accordingly!! (i think)
dont hesitate to throw out other crazy ideas though!

I cant paint the tank at the moment because GIMP appears to be lacking some features that photoshop has to make the job look good. However i have attached the red version if you need it.

    Hi-jack

OK, sorry but I'm going to hi-jack this tread to tap into all you talented photo-shoppers!
The results so far have been very impressive so I thought I'd give you something else to play with.
I'm thinking about re-painting my R6 with a scheme based on the Aprilia WSBK colours. I have attached a pic of Max's bike and my R6.
Anything to give me an idea of the finished result would be really appreciated.
    Have fun guys!

I can't afford Photoshop still, but one day I will get it as I am always fiddling with paint jobs on my bikes, except they do not have the expanses of plastic like the above Honda so it is only a weekend job to 'tickle them up' for me. The Honda would look awesome in any of the 3 pictures. My fave would have to be the wing one at the top but done in blood red instead of orange, or 're-sale red' as we call it...

Why pay $5 and wait for a cd when they are both free downloads in less than an hour which you can burn to cd the same day (book is free to download as well)

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but just to see, could someone show what this would look like if the entire bike was just red, maybe this red, or the red that comes on some of the later cbr-rr's?
I am thinking red, but feel free to try change my mind by showing how she would look in another colour!

    Thanks in advance photoshop gurus!!!
