    Blah Sooo cool!

Hi All, was going through some old photos of my Grandad, found this of him standing on his seat down Oreti Beach in Invercargill, must have been early 1930's Maybe someone remembers him, he had his own motorcycle dealership in 30's & 40's had BSA Indian and another brand, was a good friend to Burt Munroe, mum says she spent hours and hours in Burts shed when she was a kid, while grandad and Burt talked motorcycles. He was a member of th SMCC (Southland motorcycle club) I have a cpuple of the trophies he won dated 1937 & 1939 labeled "Wakefield Min" ?? anyway if anyone remembers him I would love to chat, he was from Timaru & Invercargill Name Edwin Tall, was called Ted by his friends.

Neat! Hand throttle sets are good for doing that.
Dad and 2 mates did a threesome stand up ride down the main st of Johnsonville in 1939, on his Ariel Red Hunter. The mother of one of his mates and his mother, saw them, the mates mother fainted, and when dad drove home, the axe by the front door told him, he'd better not stop...........(she was a fiery woman, my grandma...the bike would have got the chop.....)
