    Question Carburetor diaphram rebuild

I have been told there is a company in NZ that rebuilds carburetor diaphrams!?!?!?!

Does anyone know of such a company?

Both my diaphrams are perforated, The diaphrams are no longer available either from the manufacturer or after market. I have patched them up but one of them is definately past its useby date as I noticed someone had done a patchup in on them the past :-(

I have found a company in England that does it but a local yokel would be so much easier.

Econohonda does it for Hondas - he was using new diaphrams from warranty slides from other bikes.eg - he used GL1500 diaphrams on my XLV750.So you need to source a diaphram first....or as in my case, one the same of another bike.

The Bings on my BMW use the same system as the old CD Stromberg used on a lot of British cars in the '60's and '70's - the diaphrams are replacable.Who woulda thought to make them easy instead of expensive to replace?
