Keep in mind the gb500 puts out 36hp, at the crank, most modern 600s will have 80-100 MORE hp.

I've passed gixxers on the really tight twistys on my GB500. If you know the road better than they do, it's not hard.

Yes it depends on the road and on both riders as well.

So we talking about a straight line, or around a tight bend? Also many GB500's have been re-sleeved liked mine up to 600cc.

I don't give a rats who/what passes me, as long as they do it safely.
Why should it matter? It's the Wacky Races - anything goes, and none of it's a reflection on me in any way, unless I allow it to be.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

The GB engine is a sleeved-down variant of the XL600 dirt bike motor, so they have no problems being re-sleeved back to 600cc. Mines done over 20,000k without missing a beat. No idea how much HP it's doing. Plenty GB500 owners here that have done the same.
