I hate you all![]()
watching you all with incredulity - Makairo is fun (1 -2 times a year maybe) but riding uphill from Coonor with those deep ruts doesn't appeal to this old bastidge - onya all for doing it - ride safe and have fun - I'll think of you all as I potter around 'kune after the Cold Kiwi - cheers Aslan

Cheers Pete.
Life shouldnt end at the grave well presented but rather, slide in sideways totally worn out yelling "shit that was a great ride!"
id say caltex south end of masterton. its first gas station on your left coming from the south, after the waingawa river bridge.
okies cant miss it..

Don't worry, I'll find ya. I know a few short cuts,
(this is one area where I don't get lost).
As for gas, bring some cash and I'll sort you out. I know some people who know some people. I'll ring up tonight, but he'll be more than happy to help. About $2 a litre should cover it.
Otherwise, I'm heading out that way tomorrow, so could drop a 10 litre container out there somewhere.
Cheers,
Bart
Hi Aslan. The track has been cleared a lot recently, so you can ride past that rut quite easily now. It's still a challenging ride, but perhaps not as bad as a couple of years ago, (that rut was more of a pain than a challenge though). You should come and have a look. It'd be nice to see some mud on the beemer.![]()
you the man bart bro.....
sorting the gas out..that man deserves a beer..
yea it was better going up than down last time i was in there, it been cleared out quite good..![]()
