    Best insurance?

I'm with Vero and just renewed my insurance, it was done automatically - so I didn't really take much notice - but have since noticed it's gone up despite having not made any claims. I've been with Vero @ 5 years and the the only cost to them in that time has been sending me a certificate once a year.

Rung around a few other places, but they're even steeper.

Any suggestions for a good insurer on a 2003 CBR600RR - fully comp? Is there a Honda specific insurer in NZ?

Ring Dave at www.kiwibike.co.nz he gave me the best price for my CBR1000RR compared to the rest of the companies. Not had any claims but I hear from other kb members Dave's always there to help.

I'll second that too. I wrote off a bike whilst insured through Kiwibike, and they were excellent to deal with.

Just don't go with State or anyone affiliated with IAG - they may quote a cheaper price, but will fight against ANY payout!

I'll triple that, had one total loss claim and one theft claim through Dave, no troubles and always nice to deal with.

I've just been hunting for insurance too for my bike and ALSO found Dave at Kiwibike gave the best deal/quote around.

Ergo, I have every intention on following through with it too next week.

I signed up with STATE hope nothing goes wrong until our contracts over, then I'll give that guy a call.

State had lowest quote by far, I was quoted at $100 minimum from 4 companies then state said $49 a month for full cover... So lol, were good to me, but do hope they pay out if the need arises.
To be efficient, think, what is the most important thing to be done? and if your not doing it right now... Your being inefficient... from some legend of business

I'll quadiple(!?) that. Kiwibike has given the best price for the last couple of years and Dave is always willing to help in any way he can. Good to deal with, how many times can you say that of an insurance company?

I firmly recommend John Baker Insurance. The best companies are those that respond efficiently to your claims. I've had two claims thanks to a gobshite running from the cops and some dumb bitch reversing into my bike. On both occasions JB were spot-on and resolved the claims really quickly.

When I bought my bike I thought I'd try State as well (only because house/contents were with them. Anyway, after 10 mins of questions on the phone, the woman finally asked what my bike was, then says "we don't have any information about those on our list". She said I will need to ring back & fill out forms plus a whole lot of other crap so they could research the bike....I said forget it, I'll go elsewhere.
Am currently with Vero & my ;latest has just gone up $40 over last year despite no claims ever.
I'm also thinking of now getting another quote.

Hi - I read a bit on this site about insurance and then just called kiwibike. Price was better than what I thought so signed up over the phone. Dont want to have any stress should I have to claim.
